The Man Maker

A brutally simple, short and painful workout. From Enter the Kettlebell by Pavel.

  • Devised by Green Beret vet Bill Cullen, RKC
  • Alternate high-rep kettlebell swings with a few hundred yards of jogging or a minute or two of jump rope
  • Swings are done to a ‘comfortable stop’ (only all-out occasionally) and the jogging or jump rope is light – it’s active recovery
  • Start with 12 minutes; you can expand or compress the time frame later

That’s it. Might look easy on paper, but the first time I tried this workout, by the time 12 minutes rolled around, I was totally smoked. Next time you need an intense workout and you’re pressed for time, try The Man Maker – it’s no joke!
